another milestone...
Today is the day of yet another milestone on my journey. One year ago today I completed my last dose of high dose ARA-C (my chemo) Honestly, I can't believe it has been a year. In some ways it all seems like it never happened. In some ways it seems like it was all a dream or a nightmare depending on how you look at it. Kinda weird from my standpoint. I think it's that "it will never happen to me" thing. And when it does it all seems surreal! In some ways I am amazed at my progress and in others disappointed. I have talked to many other survivors and this seems to be the general consensus. All in all though I am just happy to be ALIVE!

Woohoo!!! I am about 3 months behind you... my last day of my 5th round of chemo was sometime around May 15thish I'll have to look at my caring page to remember for sure, milestones are SO very important! Do something special for yourself and concentrate on those things that amaze you:)
